Hazardous Areas

We have over 40 years experience in carrying out the design, installation and maintenance of electrical installations for major retailers throughout the UK.   

When any electrical work is carried out in areas where potentially explosive atmospheres may be present in the form of gases, vapours or combustible dusts, it needs to be done in accordance with some additional technical standards. This supplements the requirements for normal electrical work and ensures that the work is fit for purpose and safe.

Our hazardous area electricians are ´Compex´ qualified and hold valid UK PIA (Passport to work - health and safety qualification). We carry full public liability insurance for hazardous area environments and operate a strict health and safety policy.

We are moving towards specialist future fuels such as hydrogen, LNG and E-Charging for EV cars
