Testing & Inspection
At T E Ramm, we understand the importance of safety and quality, and offer a comprehensive testing and inspection service on all types of electrical installation.
Our testing and inspection services include:
- Full periodic test and inspections
- Fire alarm inspections
- Emergency lighting inspections
- Portable appliance (PAT) testing
Once on site, our experienced and highly qualified engineers will assess compliance with BS 7671:2008 Amendment 3 (2015) 17th Edition IET Wiring Regulations and any other relevant British Standards.
In all cases a computerised formal certificate is issued stating the current condition of equipment, as well as confirming compliance with current regulations and giving details of any defects found together with advice on the appropriate action to be taken, if appropriate.
Load Analysis Testing
Load Analysis testing is an additional service that we can provide, using the interlogger Power Analyser technology. This service can be provided to all type of installations, providing analysis on basic loadings to detailed information on the incoming supply quality.
Load monitoring is an excellent method of gaining detailed information of the electricity usage, especially in cases where the installation may be extended to serve new buildings or certain equipment that may have a high load requirement.
The load monitoring duration can be configured to run over an agreed time to suit individual requirements. Once the analysis has been carried out the data recorded is summarised and issued on an Excel format spread sheet for the client to review the results and retain for future reference.
